I found my dress about a month ago, but haven’t had time or the willpower to post about it until now. I’ve talked to a lot of people about finding their dress, and unlike me, they knew “it was the one” by a matter of looking at a few dresses. Sometimes it was the first or second dress they tried on. But if you know me, you know that could never happen. I am SO indecisive. So, I looked at David’s Bridal, found two dresses I liked, and then went to look at Alfred Angelo. I found a dress I fell in love with there (Snow White dress with a cape – ridiculous, I know, but when else will wearing a cape in my life be appropriate?), but it was very expensive and they never offer discounts on their Disney collection dresses. So, I went back to David’s Bridal, but still didn’t fall in love with any one dress. Luckily, my friend (Lindsey) knew of a store in Rancho Cucamonga that had nice dresses, and I ended up falling in love with a dress there. It was the complete opposite style of what I wanted, but it looked great on and matched my theme perfectly 🙂
Over spring break (like 2 weeks ago), my mother and I made a trip down to San Diego (I hope you are pronouncing it in your head like Will Farrell does on Anchor Man… because you know I am!) for some R&R. We went to our favorite resort, Paradise Point.

My friend, Carlotta, suggested that I write about my wedding experience to help others who will eventually go through the same struggles I am facing. So, here I am. I think, at least so far, that finding a venue has been the most stressful part of planning this wedding. I gave myself a month to 6 weeks to find a venue, and luckily I accomplished this goal. Here are my tips, I hope they help.
What to consider when looking for a venue: Continue reading
Hi, all! I haven’t been writing for a while, I know. I’ve been a bit preoccupied working 24/7 (writing lessons all day everyday makes me really cool right?). Don’t become a teacher. Anyway, on a better note, I got engaged :))

Hi all! It’s been a while since I’ve posted, but I just auditioned for the voice and wanted to write about my experience so other newbies would know what to expect when they went.
First of all, I arrived 30 minutes before my audition time and there were already hundreds of people in line. The two people in front of me in line were nice enough to talk to me and adopt me into their group for the day. We waited outside in line for about 20 to 30 minutes (in the shade, thank goodness!), and then we waited inside for about 20 minutes until we were sent to the main holding room. Continue reading
Last Sunday was Lindsey’s wedding shower. Four of us helped to throw it. She has an old style theme going on in her wedding so there were lots of mason jars.
This Halloween is the first Halloween I didn’t dress up in years (unless you count throwing on a Batman cape for school), and I’m not gonna lie… it was nice. Every year I’d have to think up costumes, spend a bunch of money, and complete a bunch of DIY stuff for it. Don’t get me wrong, it was fun and the costumes were awesome, but it was tiring too. This Halloween I ended up making a pumpkin pie from scratch with Ban instead. I used a recipe from the Food Network and it turned out pretty great!
Day 2 in San Francisco was race day! We got up bright eyed and bushy tailed-haha let’s not kid ourselves, I hate mornings! Aiko and I posed for a pic right before we lined up for the race though. Did I mention the race started at 6:30 freaking AM???!!! What world are we living in?!
There were cheerleaders and music and people cheering at every half mile to a mile! It was one of the most amazing, well covered races I have ever experienced! Continue reading
Last weekend my bestie, her bf, my bf, and I all took a trip up North to San Francisco so that Aiko and I could run the Nike Women’s Half Marathon with my other bestie, Maggie, and our friend Mary. We chose this race because you get a Tiffany’s necklace! Who doesn’t want one of those??? I have only been there once when I was like, 2 years old so it was pretty exciting for me. Also, Ban has never flown before, so it was great to see his excitement and enthusiasm for the sights he saw when we were thousands of feet in the air. Here are some of the experiences we had:
